Enterprise Launches Open Season for Expanded Diluent Service on TE Products Pipeline
(P&GJ) — Enterprise Products Partners L.P. has initiated a binding open season through its affiliate, Enterprise TE Products Pipeline Company LLC, for additional volumes of diluent on its existing 20-inch diameter pipeline.
The open season aligns with plans to expand the system to meet rising demand for diluent transportation into the Midwest and onward to Canadian markets.
Originating in Mont Belvieu, Texas, the pipeline stretches to the Chicago-area market, providing access to third-party pipelines facilitating diluent transport to Canada. The open season aims to accommodate heightened shipper demand without disrupting existing operations.
The proposed capacity expansion involves system upgrades and incremental pumping horsepower. The binding open season commences on June 4, 2024, at 8 a.m. CDT and concludes on July 3, 2024, at 5 p.m. CDT. Pending sufficient shipper commitments, the expanded service is slated to commence in July 2025.
For further details and open season documents, including transportation services and confidentiality agreements, interested parties can contact Erica Franz at efranz@eprod.com or call 713-381-4234.
