(P&GJ) — The American Public Gas Association (APGA) has promoted Erin Kurilla to Executive Vice President, Vice President of Advocacy & Operations. The APGA represents over 730 local, municipally owned natural gas systems across 38 states.
Kurilla joined the association in 2017 as Director for Operations & Safety, later becoming Vice President in August 2018. In her new position, she will continue overseeing many of her existing responsibilities while expanding her focus on APGA's legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts.
APGA President and CEO Dave Schryver noted, “Erin is clearly an experienced, knowledgeable resource for APGA, its members, and the public natural gas distribution industry. Erin is dedicated to the continued safe operation and reliable delivery of natural gas to homes and businesses. She is committed to advocating for the accessibility of the direct use of natural gas for millions of American consumers.
