Bakken Area Gas Gathering System Planned
Bear Tracker Energy, LLC has signed an agreement with a large U.S. independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company to build, own, operate and expand a natural gas gathering system that includes compression and other related facilities in the Bakken area of North Dakota. The associated natural gas production from 18 townships in Burke and Mountrail counties will be committed to BTE’s gathering system for the term of the agreement. BTE will gather, compress and deliver the natural gas for further handling at a Stanley, ND facility. Construction will start shortly with operations estimated to begin mid-year.
