Houston Pipeliners Pick Officers, Award Scholarships

The Pipeliners Association of Houston closed out its year by electing new officers and announcing it had raising about $300,000 to go toward scholarships.

Serving the association in the coming year will be Allan Taylor, president, of Wood Group Mustang; Mark Reilly, vice president of Spectra Energy; Grady Bell, treasurer, of Laney Directional Drilling; and Gary Yoho, secretary, of BP U.S. Pipelines and Logistics.

The students selected to receive scholarships were each related to a current member of the association who is in good standing. They are eligible to receive full scholarships only if enrolled in 12 credit-hours per semester.
