Cross Country Pipeline Supply Co., Inc. has made three acquisitions that diversify its interests and continue its pattern of growth. The businesses acquired are: N2, a Midland, TX-based provider of nitrogen generation and other integrity testing services to pipeline contractors and operators in the U.S. Ron Booth will continue to lead the business as part of Cross Country; Stone Pump & Trench, a Knoxville, TN-based provider of liquid handling, transfer pumps and trench safety equipment; and Pipeliner’s Warehouse Inc., a Houston-based provider of consumable pipeline construction supplies to the midstream market with a strong presence across the Gulf Coast. Jered Ramsey, general manager of PWI, will lead the business as part of Cross Country.

Oilfield Water Logistics expanded its pipeline network through the acquisition of the Azure West Texas Gathering System in the Permian Basin and Interline Pipeline System in the Powder River Basin. The transaction adds over 700 miles of pipeline and right-of-way for water gathering, new supply routes, and other midstream services in West Texas and in southeast New Mexico.

Aker Solutions and Saipem will cooperate on targeted subsea oil and gas development projects worldwide. The collaboration will develop and manage all interfaces between subsea production systems and subsea umbilical, riser and flowline systems (SURF) as well as provide services over the lifetime of a field.

Hilcorp Energy Company has stablished a newly formed partnership, Hilcorp Energy Development, L.P.,  to acquire, operate and develop onshore oil and natural gas properties and related assets in North America.

GE Oil and Gas and McDermott launched io oil & gas consulting. Jeff Measamer is general manager of Americas, Ed Hernandez is vice president of Operations and Jerry Toth is director of Business Development. Measamer will lead expansion of a new office as io establishes itself in the U.S.

H&E Equipment Services Inc. opened new branches in Benicia, CA, Jacksonville, FL and Forestville, MD.

Serimax, a Vallourec subsidiary, and Technip plan a strategic partnership for pipeline welding. Technip, a long-lasting customer of Serimax, plans to acquire a minority stake in Serimax before the companies combine their expertise and deploy the Serimax welding technology at Technip’s spoolbases and S-lay vessels.

Serimax will remain an independent service and technology provider and continue to serve its clients in the offshore, onshore pipeline and fabrication markets.

Denver, CO-based ARB Midstream, LLC has acquired InCorr Energy Group LLC, also headquartered in Denver.

IHS Inc. is acquiring Oil Price Information Service (OPIS), an internationally referenced pricing reporting agency for the oil, natural gas and biofuels industries, for $650 million.
