Krohne Unveils New Calibration Facility

Krohne opened its new flow and level instrument manufacturing and calibration facility in Beverly, Mass. With a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the manufacturing facility.

The facility will produce a variety of new and existing flow and level products, while continuing to serve as the main distribution hub to North American markets for all other products. Administration, sales, service and marketing, and a new training center will also be located in Beverly.

The new production building will be interconnected to a two-story office building, tripling the floor space compared to the existing facility in Peabody, Mass. Production and distribution operations will also be transferred to the new space.

BCCK Holding Company, an engineering and field construction services, opened a new office in The Woodlands, north of Houston. The office is located at 2201 Timberloch Place, The Woodlands, Texas.

TRC Companies has been awarded a pair of contracts for the Midship Pipeline Project in Oklahoma – one for environmental consulting, engineering and field services and the other a stem-to-stern engineer, procure and construct (EPC) contract for three compressor stations.

Case Dealer Opens New Flagship in San Antonio

Case Construction Equipment dealer ASCO Equipment Company (ASCO) opened a new flagship facility Sept. 20 in San Antonio that includes equipment sales, parts, service and training support

The grand opening for the new campus, spread over 45,600-square-foot facility on over 62 acres, was attended ASCO owners and team members, Case global and NAFTA leadership, customers, suppliers and assorted special guests.

The San Antonio facility is ASCO’s largest location and contains 15,000 square feet dedicated for sales and rental operations, a 25,000-square-foot service shop that features 14 super bays, and 5,600 square feet of warehouse space.

A Silver Creek Midstream affiliate is acquiring Genesis’ Powder River Basin Midstream Assets for $300 million. The assets include the Powder River Basin Pipeline along with the associated crude oil gathering system and rail facility. Proceeds from the sale will be used by Genesis to reduce the balance outstanding under its revolving credit facility.

Black Bear Midstream signed a contract to provide dry gas gathering service beginning in late 2018. The six-year agreement includes “a significant volume commitment” and extends Black Bear’s business beyond its core of natural gas processing, the company said. The company owns and operates a 140 MMscf/d cryogenic gas processing plant in Caddo Parish, La., high-pressure gas gathering network and a 40-mile NGL pipeline that extends into DeSoto Parish, La.

Denso Group Germany has been awarded the largest field-joint protection contract for the EUGAL pipeline in Germany – three-quarters of the 48,000 joints along natural gas pipeline. The pipeline will eventually become a crucial transport link, securing supplies in Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland.

Kinder Morgan started a binding open season on the Roanoke Expansion project on the Plantation Pipe Line System, which primarily consists of additional pump capacity and operational storage, will add 21,000 bpd of incremental refined petroleum products capacity on the Plantation system from Baton Rouge, La., and Collins, Miss., to the Roanoke, Va., area. The project is expected in service by April 2020.
