Finland-Estonia Balticconnector Gas Flows Estimate Set
The Balticconnector pipeline, which is due to start operation early next year, will begin with a capacity of between 97 MMcf and 133 MMcf per day from Estonia to Finland, Estonian partner Elering said. Flows the other way, from Finland to Estonia, will start with a capacity of between 144 MMcf and 200 MMcf per day, the company said in a statement. Capacities are calculated for the starting period of winter-spring of 2020. Finland, Estonia and Latvia, which will be served by the pipeline, agreed to form a joint gas market earlier this year.
