High Pressure Equipment Company (HiP), a subsidiary of Graco, has developed the e710 supercritical CO2 extraction pump system for an environmentally friendly extraction process. The pump/drive does not require an air compressor and uses an explosion-proof motor rated for C1D1 areas. The system’s electric motor requires no air compressor and since no driving air is used it cannot leak air into the system. In addition, the e710 requires no lubrication in the pump heads, eliminating potential contamination of product. The electric pump provides for quiet operation and offers a small footprint of 17-by-20.4-inch base and is 58 inches tall. Three-phase and single-phase models are available, as well as a PLC control for remote operation. www.HighPressure.com
