DTE Energy appointed Rodney Cole as vice president of the DTE Energy Foundation and director of community engagement for Public Affairs at DTE Energy. In his new role, Cole will lead the DTE Foundation’s operations and grant strategies. Also at DTE, David Palsrok was named director of State Government Affairs and will lead the company’s policy and advocacy efforts in Lansing, Mich.
Eversource Energy named Joe Nolan as president and CEO, replacing Jim Judge, who became executive chairman of its board of directors. Nolan has been at Eversource and its predecessor companies throughout his 35-year career.
Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) announced the appointment of Jason Glickman as executive vice president, Engineering, Planning and Strategy.
UGI Corp. announced Roger Perreault has been named president and CEO and joined UGI’s board of directors following the retirement of John Walsh. Perreault previously served as UGI’s executive vice president of Global LPG and president of its UGI International subsidiary. Before joining UGI Corporation, Perreault held various leadership positions at Air Liquide after serving as a chemical engineer and operations manager with I.C.I. in Quebec, Canada.
GTI created new positions and promoted team members as it continues to grow its scale and capabilities. Kristine Wiley was named vice president of the institute’s Hydrogen Technology Center. Among her responsibilities in this new role are cross-cutting hydrogen R&D projects, advisory services, and GTI’s role in orchestrating emerging hydrogen hubs in the global energy market.
Jeremy Otahal was appointed vice president, People and Client Services, and now leads the enterprise-wide Human Resources function while continuing to oversee the Education and Training Department. Amy Russell was named director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to manage and implement DE&I strategies within the GTI enterprise. Ray Deatherage is now director, Education and Training at GTI and will drive commercialization of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and extended reality (XR) content while developing new training material to support the energy transition.
EnerMech announced that Daniel McCarthy has joined the company as its strategic proposals director, based in the United Kingdom. McCarthy started his 18-year career in oil and gas, engineering and construction at Kentz, which was later acquired by SNC-Lavalin. In his most recent role, he was responsible for overseeing the company’s pursuit of large-scale projects in the Americas, as well as leading all its major global construction proposals.
Emeakpo Ojonah joined Energy Quest as business development manager. Ojonah previously served in senior technical and commercial roles at Baker Hughes and Halliburton, managing technical engineering and expanding service lines for each company in the U.S. and worldwide. In his new role, Ojonah is responsible for diversifying Energy Quest’s product lines within Nigeria and expanding the company’s services to other sub-Saharan African countries and North America.
Orbital Energy Group announced the appointments of educator Jerry Sue Thornton and former National Security Agency Chief Information Officer La Forrest Williams to its board of directors. With the appointments, Orbital’s board has been expanded to 10 directors, seven of whom are independent.
