What's New

What's New December 2022

RegO

RegO offers Presto-Tap, a UL-listed liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) system leak test device to its portfolio. Adding the full line of Presto-Tap devices to its portfolio of LPG valves, regulators and tank hardware enables the company to provide a fast, low-emissions way to perform required National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) system leak tests.

RegO provides an online calculator to project the total savings available, with the devices and valves, factoring in the cost of the technician’s time, service call expenses and the cost of excess LPG emissions. RegO also offers the LDS2000 RV fitting, a series of Presto-Tap leak detection system (LDS) brass pigtails, as well as tank pressure fittings (TPF Series) for installation between the tank service valve and the first-stage regulator.

Enduro

Enduro’s Digitel Data Logger DW2 inline inspection (ILI) pig features advanced inertial measurement unit (IMU) navigation equipment that complements our PigProg software containing geographical information system (GIS) tools that connect to a system-use ArcGIS. Pipeline operators are becoming familiar with new regulations pertaining to Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 192 and 195 compliance.

Pipelines affected by these new regulations will need accurate mapping along with moderate consequence area (MCA) determination. Natural gas gathering and transmission pipelines also need to be updated. Enduro also has tools to work with liquid pipeline operators for high consequence area (HCA) determination using the unusual sensitive area (USA)-licensed data sets.

Netzsch

Netzsch offers advanced, field-proven technology for lease automatic custody transfer (LACT) and other midstream and downstream pumping applications. Nemo progressing cavity pumps are reliable, modular systems that handle a wide range of hydrocarbons with a constant, smooth and low-pulsating flow that ensures accurate flow readings. Notos 3NS multiple screw pumps are the next generation in LACT pipeline booster pump technology with efficient operation, and a small footprint.

Takeuchi

Takeuchi added seven sound-suppressed hydraulic hammer models to its attachment program, helping compact track loader and compact excavator owners accomplish even more with their machines. The company says the new line includes models with excellent power-to-weight ratios suitable for a variety of applications. The TKB52-S, TKB72-S and TKB102-S are compatible with compact excavators ranging from the TB210R to the TB230. The TKB-302S, TKB402-S and TKB802-S work well with compact track loader models ranging from the TL6R to the TL12V2/R2 and compact excavator models ranging from the TB235-2 to the TB290. Also, the TKB1702-S is compatible with the TB2150 and TB2150R compact excavators.

NDT Global

NDT Global presents its OPTIX Data Visualization and Insights Platform, providing pipeline operators with an intuitive, cloud-based dashboard to visualize all inline inspection (ILI) data in one accessible location. Digitization of the final inspection report, combined with the ease of filtering and arranging relevant data, allows operators to better understand their ILI inspection results and make more informed decisions to ensure the integrity of their pipelines. The platform provides a comprehensive view of pipeline conditions not previously available, bringing together results from many inspection runs. www.ndt-global.com

Dynatrol

Dynatrol offers the Type CL-10DJI Interface Level Switch, which can detect liquids and bulk solids. It has no moving parts, arrives for simple installation and does not require field adjustments. The level switch is mounted through a ¾-inch half-coupling at the point of desired level detection, eliminating costly flanges, float chamber or fittings.

The on/off signal from the DJI Interface Detector operates a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay in the EC-501A Control Unit. The relay contacts actuate alarms, indicator lights or process control equipment. The detector is constructed for a long service life with stainless steel and Hastelloy C wetted parts. Specialized units can be used in temperatures exceeding 300 degrees F.
