EnLink Midstream appointed Tiffany (TJ) Thom Cepak to its board of directors. Cepak previously served as the chief financial officer of Energy XXI Gulf Coast, KLR Energy Acquisition and its successor, Rosehill Resources, and EPL Oil & Gas. Cepak began her career as a senior reservoir engineer at Exxon Production and Exxon Mobil. She currently serves on the board of directors of Ranger Oil, Patterson-UTI Energy, and California Resources Corp., where she serves as board chair. She previously was also a director of Yates Petroleum. Cepak holds a bachelor’s of science degree in engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Tulane University.
Imubit, an artificial intelligence process optimization provider, appointed Robin McCaffrey as head of People, Ran Rosin as head of Product, and Shlomi Zohar as head of Infrastructure.
McCaffrey, who now leads the company’s global human resources team, has more than 20 years of global HR experience at such companies as o9 Solutions, Toyota and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Rosin brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the tech industry, most recently serving as director of Product Management at Imperva.
Zohar joins Imubit with 25 years of experience in senior information technology leadership positions in global high tech and product organizations. Prior to joining Imubit, he served as the global IT director at Sisense, where he led IT and cyber security throughout the company’s journey from a small startup to a mature leading firm.
Energy Transfer named Dilanka Seimon as vice president of the company’Alternative Energy Group. Seimon will be responsible for developing alternative energy and carbon capture projects for Energy Transfer, along with various ESG initiatives, including the development of carbon offset programs that are accretive to the partnership’s operations. Seimon spent eight years with BHP, most recently as vice president of Global Sales & Marketing, Oil, Gas, Power & Carbon. He previously held positions with Southwest Energy, Wells Fargo Commodities and Sequent Energy Management.
ACWA Power, the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia-based developer, investor and operator of power generation, water desalination and green hydrogen plants, announced several executive changes. Kashif Rana, the company’s chief financial officer, will also take on portfolio management duties after Rajit Nanda stepped down as chief portfolio management officer in January. Abdulhameed Muhaidib, now executive managing officer of Noor Energy in the United Arab Emirates, will assume the newly created position of deputy CFO.
Additionally, ACWA Power has also named Clive Turton as chief investment officer. Turton joins from Vestas, where he served as president of the Asia-Pacific region.
KP Engineering, has named William E. (Bill) Preston as its new president and CEO. A process industry leader with 34 years of experience, Preston has served as KPE’s president and chief operating officer since 2015. Before joining KPE, he served in vice president roles for companies including a division of Texaco and ChevronTexaco, Linc Energy, Synthesis Energy Systems and GreatPoint Energy. He also was CEO of The Energy Capital Group. He currently serves as executive director of the Global Syngas Technologies Council, a hydrogen and syngas industry association.
Takeuchi-US has expanded the role of its national service and warranty manager, Joseph Huling, who is now also overseeing the company’s Technical Service Training Department. Huling joined Takeuchi in 2017 as a regional service manager before being promoted to national service and warranty manager in early 2020. In his newly expanded role, Huling will support the company’corporate sales efforts by providing product, training and support for Takeuchi’dealers and distributors, as well as for customers who own and operate Takeuchi equipment.
Global completions specialist Tendeka appointed Marc Carriere as business development manager for Canada to accelerate interest in its technologies across the country. He previously spent 18 years with Baker Hughes, where he took on the role of Innovation Director for Canada. Before joining Tendeka, he worked at Endurance Technologies as manager of corporate services.
Ameren Corporation’board of directors has elected Chairman, President and CEO Warner Baxter to the position of executive chairman and Marty Lyons was as President and CEO of Ameren and a member of its board. The company also named Gwen Mizell as chief sustainability officer, a newly created position, and vice president of innovation and promoted Patrick Smith Sr. to vice president of Economic, Community and Business Development at Ameren Missouri.
DTE Energy announced several executive appointments: Joi Harris, a 30-year veteran of DTE, is now president of DTE Gas, and Renee Tomina was promoted from DTE Gas vice president to senior vice president, Major Enterprise Products. Cedric Flowers was promoted to vice president of DTE Gas, replacing Tomina, from director of Gas Platform Major Enterprise Products. Marco Bruzzano was promoted to senior vice president of Corporate Strategy and Regulatory Affairs from vice president of Corporate Strategy, replacing Camilo Serna. Jaspreet Singh, director of Supply Chain Management, was promoted to vice president of Corporate Services, replacing Tony Tomczak, who was named vice president, Electric Sales and Marketing.
WEC Energy Group announced additional steps in its succession planning process, promoting Scott Lauber from chief operating officer to president and CEO, reporting to Executive Chair Gale Klappa. Lauber replaces President and CEO Kevin Fletcher, who will serve as a senior advisor until his retirement in June.
Continental Resources announced the promotions Shelly Lambertz to executive vice president, chief culture and administrative officer, and John Hart to chief financial officer and executive vice president of Strategic Planning. Lambertz, who joined Continental in 2018, previously chief culture officer and senior vice president of Human Resources, also overseeing Continental’s non-operated wells and serving on the board of directors. In her new role, she will also be responsible for Health, Safety & Environmental, Government Relations, Investor Relations, Public Relations and Legal.
Hart joined Continental in 2005 in preparation for the company’s initial public offering after a career in public accounting serving numerous energy clients. In his new role, he oversees all financial functions, Information Technology, and corporate strategic planning.
Oasis Petroleum appointed Marguerite Woung-Chapman to its board of directors, expanding the board to eight directors, seven of whom are independent. Woung-Chapman will serve on the board’s compensation committee and its nominating, environmental, social and governance committee. She currently serves as a director of the general partner of Summit Midstream Partners, and chair of its corporate governance and nominating committee. Previously, she was senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Energy XXI Gulf Coast and served in various capacities at EP Energy Corporation and at El Paso Corporation and its predecessors.
