Integrated Global Services

Integrated Global Services (IGS) has developed the Metalspray Pipe ID Rover system to better combat internal corrosion protection strategies for oil and gas pipelines.

Transporting untreated wet gas poses significant risks, as the presence of corrosive contaminants like H2S and CO2 can severely damage critical assets. By offering a field-applied alloy upgrade for pipelines, slug catchers, and flare lines, this technology addresses the challenges of wet CO2 corrosion and internal corrosion with precision.

Among its benefits, the system offers 360-degree access to critical areas, pipe ID corrosion mitigation, and laser integrity scans and visual documentation. It is designed for operation in hazardous wet gas environments, eliminating the need for confined space entry. www.isg-one.com

Merichem

Merichem Company launched its new Standard LO-CAT system, which fits well in the midstream and renewables markets and can be used to treat lower pressure gas streams containing up to 2 long ton per day (LTPD) of hydrogen sulfide (H2S).

The design addresses the need for a lower cost, faster solution for Merichem’s clients and includes pre-configured options for varying gas flowrates and is easily duplicated where more sulfur removal capacity is required.

The technology provides a full 3-D model, as well as all engineering and procurement information. Full procurement of equipment and materials can begin immediately after placement of a purchase order, dramatically shortening the time required to supply this system.

McElroy

McElroy’s added the TracStar 412i and TracStar 618i to its   iSeries machines. The machines are designed to fuse pipe sizes from 4-inch IPS to 12-inch DIPS (110mm to 340mm), and from 6-inch IPS to 18-inch OD (180mm to 450mm), respectively.

These equipment includes a few key differences from their Series 2 counterparts. The TracStar 412i and 618i will incorporate the FusionGuide Control system seen on other models, providing operators with three levels of control during the fusion process. Each level has varying degrees of assistance, from manual control to fully automatic fusion.

A new indexer keeps the heater and facer attached to the four jaw carriage, condensing the heater, facer, and jaws into a single unit. Operators will be able to move the indexer side to side along a set of rails, allowing them to position the heater and facer between the carriage’s movable jaws as needed.

Like the larger machines, the Tractor 412 i and 618i will be controlled via the DataLogger, McElroy’s ruggedized tablet that records fusion parameters and other pertinent data during the fusion process. www.mcelroy.com

OleumTech

OleumTech offers its electromagnetic flow meter as part of its H Series hardwired process instrumentation line.

The OleumTech HEFM Magnetic Flow Meter offers polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lining material, a backlit local display interface and various self-diagnostic features for managing critical device health.

The HEFM flow meters can be custom ordered, using a variety of line sizes, materials and power options to fit the needs of OleumTech end users. Highlights include independent measurement of fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity; two measuring points inside the meter with no moving parts; reference accuracy of ±0.2% of reading; output signal options of RS485 Modbus/4-20 mA/2-8 kHz pulse output and a backlit liquid crystal display (LCD), with integral push-button interface. www.oleumtech.com

Sick, ERC

Sick and Eagle Research Corporation (ERC) offer a remote data collection solution using the FLOWSIC500 ultrasonic gas flow meter.

This device allows for remote access to meter integrity data and gas flow information. ERC is an independently owned automation and telemetry solutions provider, focused on industrial and natural gas applications.

This recent partnership pairs the FLOWSIC500 with ERC’s 9040500USM cellular monitoring device. The ERC 9040500USM integrates with any SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system or third-party polling engine to access flow information and meter health data using standard LTE (long-term evolution) cellular-based communication protocols. www.sick.com

NDT Global

NDT Global released its OPTIX Data Visualization and Insights Platform, providing pipeline operators with an intuitive, cloud-based dashboard to visualize all inline inspection (ILI) data in one accessible location.

Digitization of the final inspection report, combined with the ease of filtering and arranging relevant data, allows operators to better understand their ILI inspection results and make more informed decisions to ensure the integrity of their pipelines.

The platform provides a comprehensive view of pipeline conditions not previously available, bringing together results from many inspection runs. Continued advancement in ILI technologies has led to significantly more data to extract and interpret. www.ndt-global.com
