Names 

VideoRay LLC, an underwater robotics solutions company, appointed Jeff Snyder as the director of Applications Engineering, Integration and Testing. As a marine technology professional, he brings to VideoRay over two decades of expertise garnered from leadership and field positions at robotics and technology organizations, such as SeaVision Underwater Solutions, L3 Harris-Oceanserver, and Terradepth.  

Willkie Farr & Gallagher said that Sarah McLean joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department and Private Equity practice. She is based in Houston. Sarah was most recently a partner at Shearman & Sterling, where she was joint head of the U.S. Energy industry group. McLean has over 20 years of experience in advising private equity funds and management teams on high-profile deals across the energy sector.   

At CenterPoint Energy, Jason Wells was named president, CEO and a board member, and Kristie Colvin was named senior vice president and chief accounting officer. These moves coincided with the retirement of David Lesar as CEO and director. 

Alliant Energy’s board of directors has elected John Larson as its executive chairman and Lisa Barton as CEO. 

Avangrid made key appointments to its Regulatory Affairs Department: Javier Buscobo, vice president of Market and Regulatory Affairs; Rebecca Marino, vice president of State Government; and Leo Rosales, vice president of External Communications. Also, Justin Lagasse, senior vice president-controller, took over the role of CFO, following the resignation of Patricia Cosgel. 

  1. Keller & Associates, a provider of safety and regulatory compliance solutions, 

hired Ken Sherman as vice president of software engineering for its Technology Solutions division. He will lead a team of more than 130 development and quality assurance professionals in technical design and development. Most recently he held leadership positions with arrivia, Quake Global and Verimatrix. Sherman holds a has a bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and communications from San Diego State University. 

NIBCO announced the promotion of Allen Stanley to vice president, fittings manufacturing and distribution, and Rudy Smith to vice president, valve manufacturing. Both Stanley and Smith will report to Ashley Martin, president and COO, NIBCO. 

Dominio Energy promoted Steven Ridge to the role of executive vice president and CFO from senior vice president and CFO. The company also named Corynne Arnett as executive vice president-Regulatory and Customer Experience. She previously served as senior vice president-Regulatory. 

NDT Global appointed Ranbir Saini as Senior Vice President of Products. Based at our Calgary location, Ranbir will lead the Technology (Research and Development), Product Management, Marketing and Dynamic Risk teams. He has a diverse background that spans consumer, business-to-business, enterprise, as well as small and medium-sized business markets.  

Siempra announced the resignation of Kevin C. Sagara as vice president, group president and director of the company’s Southern California Gas subsidiary.

Energy services provider Expro is celebrating 40 years in the subsea sector since the launch of its first subsea test tree system in the North Sea in 1983. The company’s capabilities have been boosted by the acquisition of offshore services provider PRT Offshore, which enabled Expro to expand its portfolio in the North and Latin America (NLA) region and accelerate the growth of PRT Offshore’s surface equipment offering into the Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa (ESSA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions. 

DNV, the independent energy expert and assurance provider, announced it is the lead partner for National Gas Transmission (NGT) in its expansion of a hydrogen pipeline research facility. NGT was awarded two Strategic Innovation Funded (SIF) projects by Great Britain energy regulator Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (OFGEM) to research the suitability of existing assets to transport hydrogen in the NTS as part of the project. 

Liquid product storage and logistics Exolum entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 50% interest in Vopak Moda Houston, an ammonia storage, import and export terminal located on the Houston Ship Channel, from Moda Midstream. The deal advances Exolum’s diversification strategy and will further advance the company’s low-carbon fuel development. 

Offshore Frontier Solution Pte Ltd., in Singapore, a joint venture between MODEC and Toyo Engineering Corporation, awarded ABB the contract to deliver a complete electrical system and associated digital solutions on an ExxonMobil floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for the South American Uaru oil field. The offshore FPSO, named Errea Wittu, will be operate 125 miles (200 km) off the coast of Guyana.
