HazTek Names Randal L. Tigert Principal Safety Consultant
HazTek Inc., has appointed Randal L. Tigert to the position of Principal Safety Consultant for its Gulf Coast Regional Office in Houston, Texas.
An expert in safety with over 39 years of experience, Tigert has traveled the world to provide hands-on training in more than 15 countries and has served as Certified Safety Manager and member of the Board of Directors for the World Safety Organization.
Prior to joining HazTek, Tigert had been employed by Jacobs Engineering in numerous safety management positions, including Director of Health, Safety & Environment, in their Pharma-Bio Business Unit, Modular Construction Facility, and Upstream Oil & Gas Business Unit.
Tigert began his career servicing equipment where he learned the trade from the ground up. He later developed his broad safety management expertise in oil & gas, industrial construction, maritime, ship building, infrastructure, and commercial construction industries for such companies as Transocean Offshore and First Wave Marine.
