LAGCOE 2017 Targets Midstream Sector
LAGCOE, a nonprofit energy industry organization focused on educational programs and organizer of a leading technical exposition and conference, is targeting the midstream industry sector with the following sessions at LAGCOE 2017.
Two midstream panels and one LNG keynote session will be featured. This year’s attendees will welcome the following industry leaders:
• Eric Fischer, Oceaneering — Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 9:45 AM to 10:15 AM
• Allen Fore, Kinder Morgan — Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM
• Thomas H. Hudson, G2 LNG & Greg Vesey, Magnolia LNG — Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Eric Fischer, project manager at Oceaneering in Lafayette, La., will give a brief overview of Oceaneering’s AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) program for pipeline inspection. The presentation will detail how AUV technology can survey pipeline with much reduced field time and cost, while providing a much improved dataset.
Additionally, Kinder Morgan vice president of public relations, Allen Fore, will present “Midstream Market,” providing an overview of current challenges and growth areas for the industry.
An LNG panel discussion and luncheon is available for purchase by all registered attendees of LAGCOE 2017, taking place in the Cajundome Mardi Gras Ballroom. Panelists will include Thomas H. Hudson, President of G2 LNG and Greg Vesey, President and CEO of Magnolia LNG. This panel will be moderated by Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA) president, Chris John.
“LAGCOE’s technical expositions and conferences have traditionally been recognized as upstream-focused events, but our technical sessions committee identified a need to reach beyond our traditional perceived audience,” said Angela Cring, LAGCOE executive director. “LAGCOE 2017’s attendee demographics are well-rounded, and it is our belief that the addition of this technical focus will be well received.”
