INGAA Foundation Appoints New Board Leadership
(P&GJ) — The INGAA Foundation Board of Directors elected Sean Nicholson as chair and Kim Tarr as vice chair of the INGAA Foundation for a one-year term starting November 10, 2023.
“Sean and Kim each have a depth of industry knowledge and diverse experiences in the natural gas pipeline industry which will guide them in their roles as Chair and Vice Chair over the next year,” Amy Andryszak, president of the INGAA Foundation, said. “I believe they are a balanced team perfectly poised to grow the INGAA Foundation and lead the industry forward.”
Nicholson is VP of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) for Michels Corporation, a multi-faceted construction company headquartered in Brownsville, WI, where he has worked since 2007. He has more than 25 years of professional experience as an executive managing health, safety, risk, compliance, and training programs in a variety of industries, including oil and gas.
Nicholson’s career is dedicated to improving the safety, sustainability, quality, and environmental stewardship of operations in the infrastructure construction industry.
“I am extremely honored to be appointed Chair of the INGAA Foundation and am very excited for what the next year will bring to the organization and the natural gas pipeline industry as a whole,” Nicholson said. “With continued emphasis on safety (personal, public and asset), environmental stewardship, quality and collaboration, we are committed to reaching our industry’s goal of building, maintaining and delivering clean energy. I look forward to working with the Foundation membership and team to identify and tackle issues critical to advancement of industry and growth of the INGAA Foundation membership.”
Tarr serves as VP of Engineering and Construction for Boardwalk Pipelines, where she has worked since 2008. She has 30 years of experience in the energy sector and in her current role has responsibility for executive leadership of the engineering, project management, construction, land and environmental functions for Boardwalk’s natural gas and liquids transportation assets.
“I am excited to take on this role as 2024 Vice Chair of the INGAA Foundation and look forward to working with Foundation staff and leadership to advance a slate of Foundation projects aligned around the priorities which strengthen the North American natural gas transmission pipeline industry and which explore additional complementary clean energy solutions,” Tarr said.
