Liebherr offers the right solution for every operational stage of international pipeline projects: At the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, Bauma in Munich, customers can experience the latest developments in Oil and Gas equipment, assistance technologies and machine controls.
Assistance technologies play a key role on modern Oil and Gas construction sites, as the applied machinery moves heavy loads on different kinds of terrain, often in changing weather conditions. Liebherr steps up to this challenge with pipe layers, ranging from 46 up to 99 tons of lifting capacity, equipped with the latest safety features – like the fully integrated Load Moment Limitation system.
Additionally, Liebherr’s latest generation 8 of hydrostatically driven dozers will be on display at Bauma 2022. Equipped with three levels of Operator Assistance Systems, Liebherr dozers optimize the entire site process from preparation up to completion. “Free Grade” provides operators with active blade stabilization when grading surfaces, ramps or embankments and delivers real-time information on longitudinal and transverse inclination. Within level 2, “Definition Grade” allows to model a 2D surface without a rotating laser. An optional roof-mounted Topcon 3D solution can be fitted and delivered fully calibrated ex-works; so, customers can get started right away. Alternatively pre-installed “Ready Kits” for Trimble and Leica systems are available.
Specially for the operation of Liebherr dozers in challenging and dangerous work conditions, Liebherr Remote Control (LiReCon) offers increased safety, as an operator is no longer tied to the machine, as well as comfort and productivity.
This next generation teleoperation system consists of the LiReCon teleoperation stand with all required controls and onboard dozer installations: cameras for all different angles and views, microphones for recording machine sounds, radio link receiver and transmitter. The high-resolution main screen provides complete view of the worksite and around the dozer. The optional active person recognition system identifies people and obstacles in the work area further enhancing safety.
Visit Liebherr at Bauma: Alongside more than 70 exhibits and live shows, at the main trade fair booth Liebherr gives further insights into future-oriented solutions and services for construction machines. In addition, all the pipelayer and dozer highlights described above can be experienced live: on the more than 10.000 m² “Test & Drive” area.
We look forward to welcoming you in Munich, at Bauma 2022!
