Clock Spring
Clock Spring Leak Stopper has been introduced as a solution for temporary leak containment on oil and gas pipelines, in refineries and petrochemical plants, and on municipal water and gas distribution lines. With a clamping strength of 5,929 foot-pound (lbf) of force and a slim profile, the device is designed for installation within seconds by a single technician.
Once the Leak Stopper™ has contained the active leak, engineers can design a composite repair as an overwrap to prolong the life of the piping system. Benefits include: a rapid repair, third-party verification of breaking strength and a design using certified SGS tensile strength.
