RegO
RegO introduced Presto-Tap, the industry’s only UL-listed liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) system leak test devices to its portfolio. Adding the full line of Presto-Tap devices to its portfolio of LPG valves, regulators and tank hardware enables the company to provide a fast, low-emission way to perform required National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) system leak tests. RegO provides an online calculator to project the total savings available, with the devices and valves, factoring in the cost of the technician’s time, service call expenses and the cost of excess LPG emissions. RegO also offers the LDS2000 RV fitting, a series of Presto-Tap LDS brass pigtails, as well as tank pressure fittings (TPF Series) for installation between the tank service valve and the first-stage regulator.

Ralston
Ralston Instruments introduced the ControlPak, the first manual pressure controller developed for calibrating pressure instruments with compressed gas in the field. It features a large, pressure-balancing piston for precise, fingertip control of pressure, along with a tough, tactical case that protects the controls and makes it easy to transport to any test site. With a pressure range of 0.03 to 3,000 psi (200 kPa to 20 MPa), the ControlPak allows the testing of multiple devices in a single setup, including differential and static calibration, even at very low pressures. The fine-adjust piston, fill, balance and vent valves are clearly labeled and intuitively arranged in the unit, which also includes storage space for hoses, adapters and accessories. ralstoninst.com
Polygon
Polygon offers composite tubes and bearings that meet the high-pressure conditions and toughest design challenges in the oil and gas industry. Applications for the high-performance composites include exploration sensor housings, valves, platform cranes and sheaves, actuators, blow-out preventers, pumps, top drives, drill components and draw works. The composites and component resins can withstand the high temperatures that oil and gas technologies are frequently subjected. Finally, the composite bearings and tubing are highly machinable and ensure the easiest possible drill-outs, ensuring efficiency in production and in the field. www.polygoncomposites.com
Reed
The Reed Bevel Boss cordless pipe bevelers provide a safe way for operators to bevel pipe in the field. The equipment trims small- to large-diameter plastic pipe, including pipe already in the ditch. Powered by a die grinder of the operator’s choice, this lightweight system significantly reduces prep time by quickly and consistently beveling on multiple cuts. Adjustable for lengths up to 1 inch (25.4 mm), the required carbide router bits cut evenly and efficiently. Plus, the guide plate eliminates guesswork and yields a consistent result. The rpms from the powerful die grinder provide smooth cuts when paired with Reed router bits. www.reedmfgco.com/en
Hottinger
Sensor manufacturer Hottinger Brüel & Kjær (HBM) launched an addition to its MCS10 Multicomponent Sensor line – MCS10-200. As part of the MCS10 series, this latest version features capacities that are double the size of the previous version, making it suitable for nominal loads of 40 kN for Fx/Fy, 200 kN for Fz, 3.5 kNm for Mx/My and 3.0 kNm for Mz. The sensor also offers high accuracy, IP67 protection, low crosstalk, compensation matrixes, transducer electronic datasheets (TEDS) and a wide temperature range. The sensor can be partnered with one of HBM’s amplifiers to provide a complete measurement chain for R&D, education or production tests. www.hbm.com/en
Vermeer
Vermeer expanded its horizontal directional drilling (HDD) fluid management equipment line with the new R600T reclaimer. The new 600-gallons/minute (2,271.3-liters/minute) mud recycling system can pair with maxi-rigs pumping between 300 and 600 gallons/minute (1,136 and 2,271 liters/minute) on pipeline and other large-diameter installation projects. The R600T features a redesigned linear-motion shaker deck to help reduce weight, increase the available G-force and extend screen life, as well as several other performance and serviceability-enhancing features. The three-tank (scalped, middle and clean) R600T reclaimer has a total fluid capacity of 7,729 gallons (29,257.4 liters) and can process 1,100 gallons/minute (4,163.9 liters/minute) of drilling slurry for a true cleaning capacity suited for HDD projects in the 600-gallons/minute range. www.vermeer.com
Ashcroft
The heavy-duty Ashcroft 5503 low-differential pressure gauge now offers extra protection against a wide variety of corrosive liquids and gases. The new “LH” option adds Ashcroft 700 series diaphragm seals with flexible capillaries to any 5503 gauge, ranging from 60 in. through 160 in. H2O (1,524 through 4,064 mm H2O) (3 to 6 psi [0.21 to 0.41 bar]). Choices of wetted materials includes 316 SS, tantalum, titanium, Hastelloy B, Hastelloy C 276, K-Monel and Carpenter 20. Dial sizes of 4 and 6.2 inches (100 and 160 mm) are available along with optional features, including liquid fill, electrical contacts and a choice of mounting hardware. www.ashcroft.com
