Esco Tool

Esco Tool offers equipment for tube and pipe weld preparation, including I.D. and O.D. clamping types and specialty saws that are offered for rental with same day delivery is available.

The rental program includes a broad line of beveling tools for weld preparation on tube and pipe from 1-inch to 36-inch O.D. and saw and track systems for cutting pipe up to 60-inch O.D. Manufactured and supported by the company’s U.S. factory, the company also offers emergency support to minimize downtime.

Users can select from the full line of Millhog I.D. clamping tools and the Cohog O.D. clamping tools, which can perform any degree of bevel on all types of alloys and cut heavy-walled pipe. Applications include metalworking, power, refineries, and shipbuilding.

OleumTech

OleumTech offers its electromagnetic flow meter as part of its H Series hardwired process instrumentation line. The OleumTech HEFM Magnetic Flow Meter offers polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lining material, a backlit local display interface and various self-diagnostic features for managing critical device health.

The HEFM flow meters can be custom-ordered using a variety of line sizes, materials and power options to fit the needs of OleumTech end users. Highlights include independent measurement of fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity; two measuring points inside the meter with no moving parts; reference accuracy of ±0.2% of reading; output signal options of RS485 Modbus/4-20 mA/2-8 kHz pulse output; and a backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) with integral push-button interface. www.oleumtech.com

NDT Global

NDT Global released its OPTIX Data Visualization and Insights Platform, providing pipeline operators with an intuitive, cloud-based dashboard to visualize all inline inspection (ILI) data in one accessible location. Digitization of the final inspection report, combined with the ease of filtering and arranging relevant data, allows operators to better understand their ILI inspection results and make more informed decisions to ensure the integrity of their pipelines. The platform provides a comprehensive view of pipeline conditions not previously available, bringing together results from many inspection runs. Continued advancement in ILI technologies has led to significantly more data to extract and interpret. www.ndt-global.com

Polygon

Polygon offers composite tubes and bearings that meet the high-pressure conditions and toughest design challenges in the oil and gas industry. Applications for the high-performance composites include exploration sensor housings, valves, platform cranes and sheaves, actuators, blow-out preventers, pumps, top drives, drill components and draw works. The composites and component resins can withstand the high temperatures that oil and gas technologies frequently must withstand. The composite bearings and tubing are highly machinable and ensure the easiest possible drill-outs, ensuring efficiency in production and in the field. polygoncomposites.com

Honeywell

Honeywell made available two Bluetooth-connected gas detectors that can deliver continuous monitoring for dangerous gases in fog, rain, snow and other inclement weather. The Searchline Excel Plus and Searchline Excel Edge allow devices to stay online in weather conditions with worse visibility and at longer distances than before. The Excel Plus monitors feature short- and mid-range applications from 6 to 393 feet (2 to 120 meters), while the Excel Edge provides long-range perimeter or fence line monitoring from 196 to 1,083 feet (60 to 330 meters). www.sps.honeywell.com

Sick, ERC

Sick and Eagle Research Corporation (ERC) offer a remote data collection solution using the FLOWSIC500 ultrasonic gas flow meter.

This device allows for remote access to meter integrity data and gas flow information. ERC is an independently owned automation and telemetry solutions provider, focused on industrial and natural gas applications.

This recent partnership pairs the FLOWSIC500 with ERC’s 9040500USM cellular monitoring device.

The ERC 9040500USM integrates with any SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system or third-party polling engine to access flow information and meter health data using standard LTE (long-term evolution) cellular-based communication protocols. www.sick.com

Dinkle

Dinkle International added to its 0229 Series portfolio of connectors used for pluggable connectivity between wires for inline splicing, and from wires to printed circuit boards (PCBs).

The compact units are designed for installation in constrained spaces and are available in mating plug designs with various pin counts of up to 40 poles. The connectors work with wire sizes from 28 AWG to 14 AWG solid or stranded conductor.

In addition, Dinkle’s spring cage is easily operated, using press-to-release tabs, so users can install and remove any solid or stranded wires as needed without tools. Contact surfaces are wide, ensuring reliable operation at up to 300 V and 12 A (UL). The connectors are compliant with UL 1059 and IEC 61984. www.dinkle.com/en
